Mobile app revamp for Hong Kong Blood including new features such as new registration and login flow, new homepage and booking flow. Users can register and login easily to see the new campaigns and programmes of HK Blood and book blood donation appointment using the app. Users can also easily see the updated blood collection units with the new design.

After learning about the concerns and requirements of the client, I have realized the current version seems inconvenient for users when trying to book appointment or look for latest info.

• Previous navigation buttons are not easy to use

• Difficult for users to see latest campaigns from the centre

• Not easy to see when can donate again and the appointment details

• Everyday blood collection units are not displaying clearly, need a redesign for showing many info

• How to display countdown and reminders

After some research and user tests, I have made some updates for easier navigation and clearer viewing experience:

• Placing the main navigation buttons on top showing main functions such as booking appointments and searching for donation centre

• Campaign banners on top to easily see latest news

• Easy-to-view new Blood Donation Appointment section with calendar to clearly see new appointment date and status check

• Two new sections to display donation countdown and reminders to donate again

• Different countdown to encourage users for booking next appointment

• Redesign for blood collection units including clearer display of daily collection target and amount of different blood types

• Donation targets are shown to encourage users to donate.

• Section can be collapsed and expanded to save space
